I called for basic information about obtaining my police report and the lady was so rude and combative that when I asked to be transferred to another officer who would listen to me like a normal person would do, when I got transferred the gentleman, he was listening to what I had to say and was able to help me out. Some of the dispatch that work there are the most rudest and on caring people on the planet. The lady who was helping me was extremely rude and real and then they wonder why we have the problems we have with the police in today society. I don't recommend ever dealing with any of the dispatch officer is unless you must have to deal with them. And if you do it might be possible you have to be transferred to somebody who knows how to do their job the right way.
Rudest people ever!!! NHPD called me saying my phone was turned in yet when i arrive they dont know where it is what so ever! And they give me an attitude
I am a new homeowner in New Haven. I recently contacted this station with regards to a civil matter that I needed to have addressed. I was then forwarded to Sergeant Howards. He was professional, and instrumental in appropriately resolving my concerns. I look forward to being a part of this community.
These guys were fantastic! I asked to make a report over the phone. The police kindly offered to COME TO MY HOUSE!! They came in under 5, filled it out, we picked it up by the station a few days later, and we were there for no longer than 2 minutes, they already had the papers for us!!
If police officers are supposed to serve and protect me, they're doing a highly insufficient job of that today.
The least this place could do is provide free wifi if they're going to make us sit here for over an hour before speaking with an officer.
Now that's what I call 5 star service!
Currently here. Been here for an hour now waiting on an officer to be dispatched so we can file a police report. Tried to get an ETA but was told "we don't do that". No one here has answers, no one here even cares. We came down here so the police wouldn't have to make the trip out but our good intentions have caused us to wait here during our busy Monday.
