TERRIBLE first experience. First, I walked into the shop to look at the overhead menus and the workers started talking about me in Spanish (which I could understand). Then they charged me for the full price of the overpriced pizza when it should have been half price because it was happy hour (or five minutes to happy hour). I asked the cashier if my pizza would be half priced, and he said yes. Then he charged me for the full price and the owner of the restaurant argued with me that it was not exactly 3 pm even though I was told my meal would be half off and it was only a few minutes to 3.
Decent food and fast service. Can get crowded at lunch. Definitely not the best pizza in New Haven.
Incredibly late order. I ordered just after 7 and they never showed, plus no one answered the phone. Will be getting my money back and will never, ever eat food from this restaurant again.
A good place for a quick bite :) Their pizza is always fresh and delicious. Hidden gems: their rice pudding is super good, and their cookies are perfection -- huge, gooey, delicious. Great place for big groups.
I travel for business and this is one of my favorites in New Haven, when I'm in town at lunch time.
