The best (and only) supermarket in downtown New Haven. This place has a great selection of quality groceries with great vegetarian options and good produce. The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable considering they are the only supermarket in town and they have quality items. 5% discount with a Yale ID is another bonus.
Love this place! Very clean and well organized. There's something for everyone here. Staff is friendly and items are easy to find.
This market has a great selection of food. The place is very clean and the employees are friendly. They have a great bulk section where you can grab different rice, beans, oats and nuts. They also have a great selection of vegan, organic and gluten free foods. One thing that I have to point out is that the prices are a bit high. At times when comparing, the prices are higher than whole foods. Aside from that, this market is great and I would highly recommend anyone go on in and check it out.
The selection is great and the staff is very friendly. They have a lot of vegan and vegetarian options, but the prices a too high. I treat this place like a convenience store.
The Elm City Market offers convenient shopping for residents living upstairs and those who work in the area. You will find probably find what you need, along with a good selection of basic fresh produce, some delicious prepared foods, and many grab and go items, including a self-serve coffee and muffin station. But with convenience comes a very high price. When it was a co-op the vibe was so much better. The staff who stayed on after the co-op’s demise are great.
