Best drinks I have ever had. The bartender made me a watermelon drink that was fabulous. Also the sliders were the best burgers I've had since coming to New Haven.

Two weeks ago, Timothy Cabral and Ordinary went over and beyond to work with me to schedule an unforgettable cocktail class for my very good friend's bachelorette evening! From prompt response from Tim about the inquiry, planning to the execution of the class it was flawless, stress free and the night made the bride so happy! Tim and the staff at Ordinary are always so welcoming, accommodating, flexible and have so much knowledge and passion for all that Ordinary has to offer! One of my first experiences at Ordinary was my first date with my now boyfriend of 4 years. We love coming here! The atmosphere, food, drinks and staff are out of this world! Thank you for the cocktail class you all hosted to our party!
Ordinary is the best bar that I have ever been to. Watching the bartenders make your drinks to perfection is so amazing. Their food menu is great too with all locally sourced foods. Highly recommend whatever cheese and meat platter they have on the menu. They occasionally have some special events as well, recently saw a reel to reel DJ! So fun!
Always my favorite spot in New Haven for a drink. The cocktails are inspired, and made with a degree of quality and a commitment to doing it right. You can get anything from classic cocktails to very interesting creative drinks. The bartender's are very knowledgeable, and the ingredients are top quality and often made in house. The decor is classic. Great bar snacks and small plates are available as well. You can't go wrong.
