Great Garage to park in.
I was told when I got off of my train last night that somebody would be there. I walked through the streets of New Haven with my wife and arrived at the parking garage which was closed. I called the number which they told me to call and somebody would definitely be there to open the garage. No one was there. For 20 minutes I sat outside of the parking garage trying to figure out if I should just go to a hotel or wait for them to open it in the streets of New Haven at night. The police department told me they get calls like this all the time about this parking garage. Luckily I had a way in thanks to somebody who lives there, and a way out. So they’re not getting a penny for me. If not for somebody coming home late at night, I would have been stuck out there or forced to pay for a hotel that night. I tried to be an honest cytisine and call them today, to tell them that I owe them money for last night and explain why I left without paying. When they finally picked up the phone after a minute of ringing I heard a bunch of people talking in the background, laughing and the guy I spoke to saying yes it is the George St garage sounded like someone who just got out of bed and didn’t care what I have to say.
If you want my money from last night, come find me. Otherwise you guys can kiss my ass

Over subscribed. Glaciers move faster than the staff at the pay window. One exit with no traffic control on busy street can make for long waits at rush hour and the gates close at 8PM so not appropriate for weekend evening parking.
this place has a lot of parking space has free parking on holidays and evan if its not a holiday the fees are low/
