I vaguely remember visiting and loving the Peabody as a child. Brought my 2.5 year old here today and she had a blast. It also wasn't very busy so she got to run around from exhibit to exhibit and made a circuit of the great Hall at least three or four times. Nice little hands on area on the second floor that was a big hit with the toddler. It's a great sized museum to see if you just have a few hours. It was also nice she was still free, most museums start charging at age 2 but the Peabody doesn't until age 3. Great place to spend a morning or afternoon with young kids.

Can't tell you about the museum because my family and I drove around for over an hour trying to find a place to park that didn't require a permit. They have a parking lot with maybe 30 spots that was completely full we drove through it 5 times. This was on a Tuesday.

My children love the Peabody. Always a family favorite I love the events they have to offer. Hoping they will expand somehow and have more interactive exhibits.

Displays laid out beautifully. My wife an I enjoyed everything. Friendly staff and easy entry. If your a senior you will get a discount. If you can go on the weekend there is plenty of parking across the street.

I love visiting the Peabody Museum. It has been a favorite for decades and I always forget how many exhibits they have in the permanent and rotating collections. The hall of dinosaurs is, of course, exciting and informative. My favorites include the gems/minerals, dinosaurs, and the dioramas of animals and ecosystems, but there's more! The space, bugs, birds, Egypt, cave people, kids area (with a free-roaming stick bug and a clear leaf-cutter ant tube habitat). If you can, take advantage of senior/kid discounts, as the entry prices add up, but aren't unreasonable compared to other museums. If you have kids, look for the family days events, as the additional staff add more interactive fun for them.
