This is the most beautiful library in New Haven. It has a unique architecture and book collection. Including a copy of the Gutenberg bible. Guided visits on the weekends.
At least make a quick 5 to 10 minute visit. Its an amazing indoor library which houses some of the world's oldest and rarest pieces of literature, including the Gutenberg Bible! It's free and has amazing architecture!
Currently they are exhibiting artifacts from the Harlem Renaissance, check it out!
One of the best SOM buildings! A jewel box for precious things. Worth visiting for the building as much as for the books.
