I love Ikea. It is organized, people are friendly and willing to help, and the food is great and affordable. The As Is section is my favorite for finding great products at lower prices. I got a huge picture frame for $7, a light throw blanket for $13, square pillow cases for about $3 each and in the past I've purchased a full-size Malm bed frame and foam mattress. I bought a teal Lack table, I can't remember how much it was now, but it's a small side table, about 5 years ago and it is still in perfect condition with the lacquer and since it's light weight it's easy to move. Hands down, the best place to get furniture, especially if you're interested in their sleek, modern style.
Love Ikea! Great selection of furniture and accessories for every room in your house. Perfect if you've got a small home. Room vignettes provide so many ideas! (And don't forget to try their meatballs!)
Absolutely astonishing! There were so many many prop rooms established. Finding restrooms was difficult. Restaurant serving traditional dishes with easy access. Staff were friendly and laid back. Props were inviting to the extent wanting to take a nap.!!
A great place to spend the day. There are so many options of every category in home furniture, housewares, linens, etc. You can touch, sit in, open and close drawers, cabinets. Turn on lights, turn them off. Keep a list of what you want on your store map. (This is provided with a pencil at the front door). They also have good food at a restaurant. They have a child care center. I bought a console table for the TV, bookcases, and dressers. I am happy with all my purchases.
I am absolutely in love with IKEA (could be because it's 5 minutes from my apartment... not sure). I will say though, that a majority of the time it is difficult to find staff on the odd chance that you need to ask a question or when you're looking for something (i.e. score of 4). Otherwise, if you know your way around you are safe! I would recommend familiarizing yourself with the website and then it becomes a breeze; the site even gives you bin numbers to pick up the items you are looking for (if you've already made up your mind) and you can go straight to self-checkout and you'll be on your way!
